About Forest Park

Forest Park (formerly Harlem) is a village located within the Proviso Township in Cook County. The entire community encompasses a total area of about two and a half miles, which is located only ten miles from Chicago’s Loop. The area prides itself on offering “big city access” while maintaining its “small town charm.” Forest Park boasts an array of activities, entertainment, and dining— the friendly Village is home to a pleasant atmosphere and plenty to do.
